To solve this problem, we have to follow the following steps:
Total Voltage Supplied = 200V
Total Current in a circuit = 100+60/200 = 160/200 = 0.8A
Since circuit is in series so same current is passed in the circuit i.e 0.8A but voltage drop would be different
Voltage drop across 60W bulb = 60/0.8 = 75V
Voltage drop across 100W bulb = 100/0.8 = 125V
As 100W bulb has more voltage i.e 125V so 100W bulb will glow brighter.
