Here's the Answer



First of all, Aluminum provides a better conductivity to weight ratio and it has cost advantages over copper. Aluminium is lighter than copper and this is the law of cost and this is cooling faster than copper. The main advantages are basically based on lower weight , lower cost and withstand the mechanical stress. One more thing is that light weight is able to lay for a long distance. The cost effective and obviously good conductivity with respect to conductor diameter.
